You know, I remember the moment last year when I found my book on Amazon.
Yeah…it was amazing. It didn’t have cover art with it yet, or a description, but there it was. My title and my name. On Amazon. Of course that sent me on a mad Google hunt to find it at B&N and Powell’s and anywhere else in the universe it might be. I even found it on Amazon Japan. In Japanese. That was quite the discovery.
And while I’ve grown accustomed to that now, there was one place I never saw on Google, and for some reason thought to look up today. After all, it’s America’s store.
And there it was.
At Walmart.
Wow. Now, why is it that it makes it more real to see my book with my name on it … at Walmart?
Now I have to go look at Target… 🙂

Booyah! Was it at Target?

Sharla, I can only imagine what a thrill it was to see that for the fist time. Now I’ll have to look for it the next time I go in 🙂

Okay, you KNOW I had to go see if my book was at Amazon Japan – and it was, but I didn’t understand anything that was there *laugh*
I didn’t find mine on Walmart – well harumph! 😀
My first foreign rights was with Russia – and I am all tickled to see what they’ll do – will they change the cover? what will it look like?
I’m so excited for you — *big ole grin*

Nothing like seeing your baby on the shelf. It’s like someone else is holding it up so every passer-by can admire it and adore you. 🙂 Definitely valadating!
